A floating peatbog. Glacial. Time, held on a swinging platform, hosting life.
Wybunbury Moss is a deep basin mire – a ‘schwingmoor’, where a raft of peat floats on an open surface of water. The site supports a diverse ecology of plant and animal life, which this film celebrates in all its light and shade.
Created in response to the Environmental Storytelling Project at Keele University (Pawas Bisht, Ceri Morgan).
