Field Notes:
The oak tree was cut, but here it is in leaf – in a picture book, a street sign, a supermarket mural.

This poetry film was inspired by the David Hart Memorial Walk in Selly Oak, curated and led by poet Rosie Miles at Birmingham Literature Festival 2022.

The film captures and responds to the stylings and locations of David Hart’s work, as well as to the walk held in tribute.
